This note is from oneof my readers who wanted to pass the word on to others.
Would just like to pass this on and warn/find others that had the same thing happen 92 Chevy Lumina APV 3.8 Recently the Pusher Fan burned out on the Van. It is not protected by a fuse or breaker. When the fan fails it causes a direct short to ground and hence a Electrical Fire. I have turned it in for Recall but in the mean time I have put in a 30 Amp fuse as protection against the hazard. 240 Watt Fan Divided by 12 volts calls for 20 but figure the 30 should be better as it is not a fusable line. Owners beware! I don't believe this to be the only vehicle effected.
